CrewNote Terms of Service
Effective: September 4, 2026 · This is the English version of the terms for CrewNote (Korean app name: 관리인). If the two language versions ever differ, the Korean version prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms set out the rights, duties and responsibilities between WATSI ("the Company") and you ("the User") regarding the mobile application CrewNote ("the Service").
2. Definitions
- "Service" means the app the Company provides so that you can keep and organize, on your own phone, notes about the people you look after.
- "Records" means the people, tags, criteria, entries, memos, photos and related data you enter in the Service.
- "Unlimited Access" means the paid, one-time purchase made through Google Play or the Apple App Store ("the App Store") that removes the people limit for good. It is not a subscription.
3. Publication and amendment of the terms
- The Company makes these terms available inside the Service (Settings → Business information) and on the Service's App Store page.
- The Company may amend these terms within the limits of applicable law.
- Amendments are announced on this page at least 7 days before they take effect, together with the effective date and the reason. Amendments that are unfavorable to Users are announced at least 30 days in advance.
4. What the Service provides
- Keeping entries, memos and photos per person; defining your own criteria (categories, weights, buttons); exporting Records as a backup file, CSV or PDF report; locking the app with a passcode and fingerprint/face recognition; and other features the Company may add.
- The Company does not create accounts. There is no sign-up or login.
- The Company may add or change features to improve the Service. If a major paid feature is removed, the Company gives advance notice under Article 3.3.
5. Storage of Records and responsibility
All of your Records are stored only on your own phone. The Company runs no server and does not collect, transmit or store your Records.
- The Company therefore cannot access or restore your Records. If Records are lost because the phone is lost, broken or reset, the app is deleted, or through your own actions, the Company cannot recover them.
- We recommend keeping important Records safe with the Service's backup export feature.
- If your phone's operating-system backup (Google or Apple) is turned on, Records may be included in your own account backup. That is between you and the operating-system provider; the Company is not involved and cannot see the contents.
- All rights to your Records belong to you. The Company claims no rights over them.
6. Paid features and payment
- The free version lets you add up to 3 people. Adding a 4th person requires Unlimited Access. The built-in sample data does not count toward the 3.
- Unlimited Access is paid once and never renews. The price is the local price shown in the App Store (KRW 3,000 including VAT in the Republic of Korea).
- Without Unlimited Access, the people and Records you already have are kept and shown as they are, and you can always view and export them. Only adding new people is limited.
- Payment and refunds are handled entirely by the App Store. The Company never receives, sees or stores your payment details.
- Unlimited Access belongs to your App Store account. After changing phones or reinstalling, use "I already purchased (restore)" inside the Service with the same App Store account.
7. Price changes
- The Company may change the price of Unlimited Access for legitimate reasons such as operating costs, added features, changes in App Store fee policies, or changes in prices and exchange rates.
- A changed price applies only to new purchases made after the change. Existing purchases remain valid at no extra cost.
8. Withdrawal (cancellation) of the purchase
- Under the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, you may withdraw from the purchase within 7 days of payment.
- However, under Article 17(2)(5) of that Act, because Unlimited Access is digital content that becomes available immediately after payment, the right of withdrawal may be limited once use has begun.
- The Company states this limitation in these terms and on the payment screen so that you know it before paying.
- The limitation does not apply when you could not use the Service for reasons attributable to the Company.
9. Refunds and compensation for delayed refunds
- Because payment goes through the App Store, refunds follow the App Store's refund process (Google Play or Apple App Store refund request).
- If a refund through the App Store is not possible, you may contact the Company directly using the business information below. The Company replies with the result within 3 business days of receiving the request.
- If a refund is delayed for reasons attributable to the Company, the Company pays late-payment compensation at 15% per year for the period of delay.
10. User obligations and limitation of liability
- You must use the Service in accordance with the law and these terms, and must not reverse-engineer, copy or modify the Service, bypass the payment process, or use the Service to infringe others' rights or violate the law.
- Notes you keep about other people are entirely your own Records. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, including personal-data protection laws, when creating, keeping and using them. The Company cannot access those Records and is not responsible for their contents.
- The Company is not liable for damage caused by force majeure, phone malfunction, your own mistakes, or failures of third-party services such as the App Store, except in cases of the Company's intent or gross negligence.
- Where the Company is liable to you, its liability is limited to the amount you paid to the Company, except in cases of the Company's intent or gross negligence.
11. Dispute resolution
- The Company and the User will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith.
- If that fails, you may apply for mediation to the Korea Content Dispute Resolution Committee (kcdrc.kr, +82-1588-2594), the Korea Consumer Agency counseling center (1372), or the Electronic Commerce Mediation Committee (ecmc.or.kr).
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Jurisdiction for any lawsuit follows the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
Supplementary provision
These terms take effect on September 4, 2026.
